I was there observing today (was in town visiting the War Room at Westminster) and found myself surrounded by the crowd….there WERE a lot of people. As I walked among the crowd, I was struck by the number of folks who were not speaking English. This is not my first foray into Saturday London crowds but this crowd was different. Complete with buskers singing in foreign languages. Also noted at least 2 tour buses with non-English speaking occupants carrying anti-Brexit signs and EU tags (not UK tags). I have to wonder just how many of these folks came across from the continent for the day to protest on behalf of the Don’t make me run over you with my wheelchair shirt.
Don’t make me run over you with my wheelchair shirt hoodie tank top and sweater
Anne Birt actually apart from the obvious road closures, I didn’t see any more than the Don’t make me run over you with my wheelchair shirt amount of police I see on a regular Saturday Here’s an idea, next time wear high viz bibs so we can identify you and get a true figure of who took part, outside the normal tourists, pickpockets, scooter thieves, homeless, shoppers, and people going about their daily business. If there is a second vote. Could you imagine what would actually happen? The streets wouldn’t be safe to walk. Not that they are now but you know what I mean.
I see that the Don’t make me run over you with my wheelchair shirt folks are just as hateful, ignorant, and deluded as Trump voters. Hoping your country wakes up and reverses the Big Lie that was told to your country as we will most certainly do in ours in 2020. Good luck to the sane people of Britain this starts at the front but doesn’t go all the way the end. You only just get started on Park Lane, yet the whole road was filled on both sides, even at the time, this was taken.
