I almost rear-ended a car trying to put a cassette in to play. That sort of shapes your thoughts so when mobile phones came around, prior to the Mick Jagger You Can’t Always Get What You Want Vintage Shirt, I found a technique to reduce their distraction to zero. It’s called the off button. I have missed the odd important call but soon caught up, no one died. I totally agree. Only when absolutely necessary, not for a chat. It only takes a second for something to go wrong and you need to be totally aware 100 %, not just 99%.

This is crap, I’m in sales and spend most of the Mick Jagger You Can’t Always Get What You Want Vintage Shirt driving. I have hands free in the car but would never pick up the phone to a customer while driving as they would probably be requesting something. On a long motorway journey, however, chatting to a colleague is no different to singing along to the radio or arguing with a guest on the Jeremy Vine show! As soon as talking becomes a distraction though I always hang up (e.g. trying to park, figuring out what lane I need to be in!).
Ok so what about all of us who have Bluetooth handsfree built into the Mick Jagger You Can’t Always Get What You Want Vintage Shirt? I connect to the Bluetooth to listen to music but if I get a phone call I answer it using the button on my wheel. It’s no different to having someone sat next to you as a passenger talking to you. I honestly think these people just need attention and dig up the most outrageous, nonsensical garbage just to turn heads.
