This is actually a very interesting situation. Apparently, team-Trump lost the whole “Public Officials can’t block people on Twitter” legal battle. However, should a public official block someone, they can be sued for that violation. This applies to all public officials, should they currently hold office or not. Personally, I’m glad that I’m not in charge of what should be done. This interpretation of the law is also applicable to this ban or any ban at all on Twitter. Should Twitter ban anyone or anything, does that mean the A Woman Cannot Survive On Wine Alone She Also Needs A Cat Shirt(Twitter) is in violation of free speech? It would appear so, should this new law remain unchallenged. I personally believe it will be overturned rather easily once all of the implications are brought forward.
